Reiki Training The process of becoming a Reiki healer is called an attunement and it is the attunement process which sets Reiki apart from every other form of the laying on of hands or touch healing. Reiki can only be transferred to a student by a Reiki Master and this healing art has been handed down from Reiki Master to student since it began. Activation of Reiki energy within a person’s hands cannot be learned from books or just by being talked about. Without the Reiki attunement process, you may be able to direct healing energy, but it will not be Reiki energy. At “A Time For You” you can become attuned to Reiki energy and learn to channel and radiate this gentle, nurturing energy to heal yourself, your friends, your family and your pets. Anyone, regardless of age, experience or belief system can learn to heal with Reiki energy which is entirely compatible with any other conventional or complementary treatments. During the process of your attunement you will become connected to the source of all universal “Ki” and will receive an increase in this life force “Ki” energy. After your attunement, your body’s energy channels will have been opened and cleared of obstructions so that the Reiki energy can flow in through your crown and out through the palms of your hands. You will then be able to channel Reiki energy in order to heal yourself and others for the rest of your life. All you will need to do to connect with the universal healing “Ki” is to place your hands upon yourself or someone else with an intention to heal and Reiki will flow through you automatically. The “Ki” energy will first heal the healer and then heal others so you will not become depleted. Reiki training is divided into three degrees or levels which are: Reiki I – first degree, Reiki II – second degree and Reiki III – third degree, Reiki Master and Teacher levels. Reiki I – First degree level Training In First Degree training you will receive four attunements. These attunements are focused mainly on opening up the physical body so that it can then accept energy. This Reiki 1 course is in two parts. Part one takes 1 day and part 2 takes half a day and it is scheduled after the required 21 day self healing and cleansing period has been completed by the student.
